MReyn24050 4th Apr 2012 00:07

Noyade 4th Apr 2012 12:58

Thanks Mel. Very lucky shot - reminds me of the archer at the Olympics at Barcelonea lighting the torch...speaking of which, is James Bond really going to open the London Olympics?

Oh dear. Reading the caption (in the sunlight) it would appear this is a "completely refitted front cockpit", which I guess would make searching for rather difficult?

My sincere apologies, again. It was the Rawdon T-1.

Open House.

MReyn24050 8th Apr 2012 08:48

Graeme. Yes the aircraft was from the USA, it was designed between 1939 and 1945 and first flew towards the end of WWII.

Navy `dive-bomber`?

MReyn24050 8th Apr 2012 13:04

It was designed as a dive bomber and torpedo bomber.

SincoTC 8th Apr 2012 16:19

Evening Mel,

SincoTC 8th Apr 2012 17:09

Thanks Mel,

I could only find photos of the side panels, but there was a tiny overlap onto the main panel in one corner of the RH one :)!

Cockpits are easier than silhouettes to prepare; the big problem is finding one that's not on your list :ugh:

Here's one that isn't (I hope)!
