Not the Linke-Hoffmann R.II, although that had a single propeller it also had four 252 hp (188 kW) Mercedes D.IVa engines ,arranged in pairs in the central fuselage and drove the propeller through clutches, shafts and gearboxes.
This aircraft not a large aircraft. It was a special type of bomber with a crew of two.

Had assumed large in view of its apparent elevation in respect of the building in the photo as well as the width of the cockpit. Would this be a seaplane, a torpedo bomber?

That is correct. Ken and Graeme have stated that the aircraft looks big. She was not that big and she was not a seaplane but a flying boat over 100 built.

It is certainly a Hansa Brandenburg aircraft but not the CC nor the W.4. It is in fact the Hansa Brandenburg W.13
