As if by magic, how did you get over here? Besides which you have duties elsewhere! Have to be Open House as nothing prepared. |
Well as there are no takers here is my first image for this forum:

A-4 Skyhawk ?
Well done sycamore, it is indeed the A-4 Skyhawk - the A-4M to be precise :ok:
All yours. |
Got nuthin`, OPEN HOUSE...
Is it a `dockyard` job from Belfast ?
Nope. Wrong continent. Only two still flying in Europe as far as I know.
Not from North America either although the US customs service used to have some, should be easy to get now.
GAF Nomad I think?
Yeap thats what it is, over to you.
Does`nt look too sopisticated,so we`ll start with F9F Cougar,fo single engined from USA....
Hi sycamore. It is single engined, but not from the US. Newer than the Cougar.
Not enough pixels,so it maybe a bit of a `Mystery` ship ,from the other side of the `ditch`....
Assuming I'm following your thinking correctly you would be in the right part of the world :)
Okay,Mystere IV,or possibly Super Mystere..
Thats what I thought you were thinking :).
You're very close but not the Mystere/Super Mystere. |
This screen is so bright ,Imust be seeing a `Mirage` then,an early one...
Imust be seeing a `Mirage` then,an early one... |
MD-550...Mirage1...?
I`d say ,based on the fact it`s only got `un moteur`,then it`s probably a IIIA,`as the earlier protos were bi-moteurs..and it`s in a museum,I guess...
If so ,Ouvrez les portes`... |
Sorry Noyade, not a Mirage I
But it is a Mirage III sycamore. Well done:ok: sycamore has declared Open House |
Is that an Air France C-47 out the window? And if so does that mean its French?
does that mean its French?
My guess it is French, because this cockpit is laid out with 'Commandant' on the left, with Mechanicien de vol/Pilot's Assistant on the right, it seems. This was a very common arrangement, at least on former/still 'Colonial routes', right through the sixties and perhaps later.
I remember riding frequently on Air Ivoire, as a passenger, out of Abidjan to Bouake on single pilot operated DC-3's on domestic flights in 1965. Seemed a perfectly practical arrangement, in fact. Hmmmm.... thinks: Don't anyone tell O'Leary!! |
Not French.
A Fokker T IX perhaps? - not holding breath........
Not a bomber mate. An airliner. Here's the layout...

A fighter but not from the Axis.
Mel |

Sycamore you are getting there but this one is not French.
