I'll go along with ORAC and go for one of the Tracker/Tracer/Trader family - not that many aircraft have such prominent windscreen wipers!
(unless it is in fact a car!!)

BEagle 7th Nov 2005 08:42

See http://www.s2tracker.com/piston_turbine.htm and all will be revealed!

MReyn24050 7th Nov 2005 08:56

Tracker but built by DH Canada Tracker CS2F-2

ORAC 7th Nov 2005 09:09

Tim Inder 7th Nov 2005 11:12

Ok ORAC, here's a part of one, if it hasn't gone by say 4 p.m. I'll post another pic and so-on.

.........Gannet.

Errr. With a brake chute? Maybe not:O

ORAC 7th Nov 2005 11:58

Lightning. God´s motorcar.

Had a couple of trips (T5 obviously), one low level. Fishbowl conditions, pilot moving head between scope mask and outside, alt showing 99,700ft. Hand going from radara sidestick controller to throttle, to map where he was plotting a tgt track based on the GCI GG broadcast. He was maintaining height using the size of the shadow on the water...... :ooh:

ORAC 9th Nov 2005 11:24

So, where´s Tim Inder gone?......

Tim Inder 9th Nov 2005 14:26

I haven't gone anywhere - it's not my turn!!

I think I've run out of cockpit photos too for the meantime, so if anyone else wishes to step up, feel free...

ORAC 9th Nov 2005 14:57

But you posted the last one and aint said if I got it right or not.

If I did, someone else can post one.....

Hi, forget. :) If it's my turn, here's the next pic:

Tim Inder 9th Nov 2005 23:44

OK,
Twin cockpit (can see the seat back of the front seat)
Tubular framed, fabric covered construction
Aerobatic (g-meter)
I'm guessing European (or damn-fast for an open cockpit - ASI is redlined at 360!!) and the VSI looks very much like a German variometer...

Is it a Bücker Jungmann?
Or was is Jungmeister? (no, I think that only has one seat)

pigboat 10th Nov 2005 01:44

Pitts S-2?

cringe 10th Nov 2005 05:41

Well done Tim, it is a Jungmann.

Gainesy 10th Nov 2005 12:05

Just loved the "Remove Before Flight" on the Lightning's ladder.:)

ORAC 10th Nov 2005 12:27

Probably added after a certain Wg Cdr Eng´s little trip..... ;)
