No - but right sort of thinking - not a million miles away..............
No - we're not in Portugual
Its a relatively new airfield I think - limited international connections but reasonably busy

Putting two and two together and possibly getting 5….
Turkish route map and Sri Lankan FMA Pucara leads me to Colombo Ratmalana?

Well it isn't Sri Lankan but it IS a Pucara (to my amazement - never did find out why it was there)
My answer above "Vitoria is closer than Nouakchott......................." applies in spades I'm afraid to Columbo. I'm not sure this is a regular Turkish destination - possibly a one-off

No - Brazil is even further away The Pucara picture isn't recent
IF the clue "Vitoria is closer than Nouakchott......................." then it's about 3050 kms from one to the other. Halfway is about 1500kms
therefore the challenge is within a circle of radius 1500 kms centred on Vitoria

The Google Earth image looks like it, but we'll have to wait for Asturianu to confirm of course. I did consider Melilla and Ceuta (that just has a heliport apparently) but the A330 put me off - that must have been right on limits if it is indeed Melilla (1433m of runway according to Wiki)?

Yes, I had a bit of trouble reconciling the A330 with that runway. Only other possibility I could think of was one of the newer Spanish airports like Castillo part developed, but the tarmac looks more weathered than that.
It's definitely Melilla - I though the "kingdom of Spain " was about as far as I could go and still say on the right side of the truth.......... Sifty Dog has the controls
They've operated some quite large aircraft in there occasionally. Iberia have used A330-200's on some flights from Madrid in the past (maybe even as late as last year) - obviously NOT at max weight.
Strange place.........
