Leftover offcuts from a Ju52; possibly Friedrichshafen looking at the airship mooring mast in the background.

Indeed Beags has it... The Ford-Stout Dragonfly. Not what you'd call a successful model...Although he did seem to be quite good at extracting money from credulous investors

621andy, as that thing wasn't technically a 'flying machine', I leave it to you to propose another challenge!

Getting my knuckles rapped by BEagle...I don't know whether to be embarrassed or proud

Yes, it didn't technically fly, but the thought was there

Sooo, here's another attempt...

AKA the Gilbert XF-120 in the movie Toward the Unknown (1956)
Which actually had some very interesting aircraft and airfield scenes

Asturias once again gets it in record time...This 24hr rule is a bit of a pain, but hey rules is rules

A special Mention in Despatches for Longer Ron

Martin XB-51. Obviously too mainstream and not esoteric enough

I was reading my Gunston last weekend - he seemed to think it was a pretty good aircraft for its time.......................... thio it was a bit of punt as I'd never seen a picture of it in plan from below.

Open house I'm afraid - I'm out and about until Monday

I guessed you'd all get it with a 'normal' view which is why I selected the underside view; but obviously even that was too simple

Anyone else want to play?

Chevvron has it with the MB5.
I'm glad that others had a stab though.
