How do you do it?
I swear no one else here has ever imagined such a thing let alone recognise it!

Quad Anson? That's just so wrong. Faithful Annie never behaved like that!

This droid is different.

No, not a super cub. (Imagine a 'cub' being involved in anything as gross as this?)
Nor anything exactly "twin engined" either. Far worse than that,

But I think you have the answer...

Looking at Aerofiles - Wagner converted a few single-engined Pipers into 'twins' - yours looks to be the Wagner 2 or Wagner Twin 2.

A little more on Wagner from an old disheveled magazine. Even the captionist was a little confused - labeling the Twin Tri-Pacer version as the Twin Cub...

Noyade has it, the extraordinary Wagner twin "Tripacer" according to my source.

The yellow aircraft is I think a twin cub, the tripacer only(!) had one fuselage but two engined grafted on the front. Prop seperation was achieved by staggering the engines fore and aft by six inches or so.

Text suggests left hand engine was mounted parallel but had a crank shaft extension.

Cheers. Treaders, you were first with 'knowing' the answer - would you like control?
Or maybe you, Heinrich Dubel? Wanna have a go?

Failing that - Open House.

Don't think so - wing looks set lower, and those don't look like B-24 nacelles - I 'm wondering about Dornier............
