OK, I may have been a little too mean tilting the picture.
It is now back to "properly oriented" (4 posts above - if needed [CTRL]+[F5]).

Ahhh....I see now!

Cause I just couldn't figure out why the engine stuck out like that and the 'fuselage' just seemed to vanish....

It's a Polish Mi-17, the upgraded export version of the Hip (aka Mi-8MT in Russia, so your "Mi-8" is pretty much OK for an answer).
