Is this a challenge or a bit of nostalgia?
If the former then I propose Capot takes control. If not then could the poster make it clear as to their intention?

Scheibe? I was thinking the Spatz-55?

Had a look as SFs but the cockpits look too long to me?

Thanks Buttrick! My 'Big Book of Gliders' went from the Spatz straight to the S-27.

Not a glider....and this one's British...

Me, sneaky? Never!

Small engine, but it drove a pusher prop (cockpit to the right), only weighed around 600 lbs, only one built and British as mentioned, and not from Blackburn...

I know what it is, but I'll give others a chance, for a few hours.

The slim booms had me really confused until you lead me off the APU path.

Thread drift back to the SF-26. I didn't realize there were so few. There was one in my club in Calgary in the 70s.

If you look carefully at the picture, you will see it has a three-piece wing. The centre-section was so heavy, that most people found some other important jobs to do, when the owner wanted to rig!

Thankfully we rarely de-rigged it. Flew well enough and had amarkedly better performance than the K-8 we had.
