The McDonnell 220 is near perfection, from an industrial designer's point of view. The latest challenge? Hmm..don't know, but it looks North American.
Am I nearly correct ??..

Not North American mate. Not Russian either, but that is closer to the country of origin...

Can't see any wing mounted engine, so assume single engined Japanese type?

You could at least have waited until I got the chance to check this thread This is my flying club's Cornell when I flew it to winter storage in October last year

BTW Kitbag, that pic is actually from the Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection at Oslo airport Gardermoen.
