Evening Mel.

Possibly French? I was thinking along the lines of the Dewoitine D.500 series?

Never seen a close up but wonder if it's the Parnell Peto that was carried on, and went down with, the submarine, HMS M1.
I'll be off to bed now so OH in the unlikely event I'm right.

The wings the Pilot is wearing would appear to be the type warn by US Army Air Corps Pilots. Would I be correct in saying the aircraft is from the USA?

Some kind of `flying-flea` as there are only a pair of upper cabane struts, and maybe a pitch rod,and what appears to be a wing/large tailplane at the back..?
