Which Aerodrome Mk III
Several ways of spelling it but yes - that's the place - rather a nice corner of the island - beaches, mountains........
My apologies to Sultan for putting him on the wrong track.
Some how it looks that Botswana is one of the few African countries withe the blue red no parking signs.
(others being mainly white with red circle)
“Aeroport de” put me on the former French colonies of which there is only one on the East side of Africa.
Looks like a nice place indeed.
Now this mishap.

Gosselies It is.
I had a small vacation booked for April flying from there but it was not to be....
Still waiting for my refund.
The Bristol was owned by Fairey aviation.
Asturias has the lead

Sorry about the delay - well that was an inspired challenge. I looked at European Freighter operators and noticed in an after-note that Avions Fairey operated one - it was so left field I assumed that's the one - there are some corkscrew minds on here!
I think we may have had Gosselies a couple of years back but as the modern airport.
Open house!

Plenty of time on 'Fairey Legs' in my BN2 days across the Earth. Made no difference, still smashed in.
This next is not in my BN2 palmares, though it looks as if it should have been. Much prop blending, I imagine. Apparently extant in a much changed form.
