Here is a read only link to the Aerodrome Database - WhichAerodrome.xlsx. Up to date as of 1/5/2019. Catching up slowly - up to May 2019 now (Mar 2020).
Here are some "rules" for Which Aerodrome. These are based upon the original suggestions from the very first thread, and have a few additions. Also please be patient as when you are active others may be asleep.

But no, note I've described it as 'further west than' Tel Aviv, rather than 'west of' Tel Aviv. There's quite a bit of Turkey to choose from

You have it, SLB!! I thought the Wizz Air tail would give it away, but on checking Wikipedia it seems they don't fly there any more, so that might have served as a red herring.

After my first guess. I already thought the tail was the clue. But I was looking for a red, black , white tail.
i will have to change my colour settings on my Iphone!

I am curious what kind of clues/guesses you can determine from the photo.

Were you traveling to or from an offshore oil platform or drilling rig?
The colour scheme makes me think of PHI, so somewhere on the Gulf Coast?
The photo show dockside cranes, a VLCC(?) and a shallow-water jack-up drilling rig.

I was indeed flying offshore (I am a Self Loading Bear)
The colour Scheme is indeed PHI.
But one of the pilots was local.
So not Gulf Coast.
What you say about the harbour is correct although I am not sure about your shallow water Jack-up.
I myself was flying to a Semi submersible So deeper water.

I believe the harbour of Limasol is much smaller.

But my photo is from 2012.
But probably same helicopters did fly from Cyprus to the same Rig I visited!
