Which Aerodrome Mk III
Correct. I spent a week at Valemount, towing at a gliding camp. A spectacular location in the Rocky Mountain Trench.
Mt Robson is the highest and most spectacular peak in the Canadian Rockies - 12,972'. It rises over 10,000' above the valley floor. There is no non-technical way to get to the summit. It is known to climbers as the Great White Fright!
Harry has the con.

Harry,
Yes, often moderate turbulence, occasionally severe. A tow pilot friend of mine, when talking about towing gliders to connect with wave, used to say: "The rotor's not rough unless you get rolled inverted!"
Besides spectacular flying in mountain scenery, we made another nice discovery, which you'll appreciate - the Three Ranges Brewing Co - "Putting the ALE in vALEmount" https://www.threeranges.com
