Which Aerodrome Mk III
Not a problem. They're SE5a aircraft of No.6 (Training) Squadron at AFC airfield of Minchinghampton. That was the intended challenge name I was after, but google says it was later called Aston Down. The Australian War Memorial dates the photo as 1919 but here it's 1917...?...

...in which case home of the then Kent Flying Club..In the middle of nowhere there is Aerodrome Rd, De Havillands and Lysander Close. Bekesbourne, RFC & RAF Aerodrome?

Apologies, a slightly fraudulent entry here inasmuch as I haven't a clue where this is, or the year or whether that really could be a shedload of Shackletons in the foreground . . . . but it's possibly a few minutes' entertainment for someone and I have an acquaintance very keen to find out as well!
