Here is a read only link to the Aerodrome Database - WhichAerodrome.xlsx. Up to date as of 1/5/2019. Catching up slowly - up to May 2019 now (Mar 2020).
Here are some "rules" for Which Aerodrome. These are based upon the original suggestions from the very first thread, and have a few additions. Also please be patient as when you are active others may be asleep.

Congratulations! Flap40 was right...but Nvubu got the name! By the way how did you identify it? a memory of the (highly interesting thanks for the pointer!) IWM photo? the rather specific setup?
For your information on the IWM photo you may see two hangars side by side in a dark color (probably dark green) on the top left of the copse. Those were serving as "workhalle" for the III./JG3 based airfield and have survived to this day. This type I know of in only one another place (half surviving there..). A next time...

Well done Dora. NSW/VIC border, near Newell highway. It was a USAAF base for a couple of years from 1940, then the RAAF had it from '42 to 1960. Fascinating history.

I reckon that the area marked on that wall map isn't the airfield, but some sort of irrigation water (can still be seen on Google Maps). Isn't Tocumwal Airport the old RAAF base (Google Maps shows the old hangars and runways there) - which, on that wall map, would be just to the right of that racecourse? Also seems to tie in with this - racecourse would be just off right of piccy, low-ish down, I thunk! But it's late here

Tocumwal Airport is where you described where you described it in relation to the Race Track. So on the RHS of the Newell Highway. I think a fair bit of gliding goes on there now.

BTW, in the last Tocumwal photo; the three upper hangars are extant, while the two on the bottom edge of the frame have gone. To be clear, Tocumwal IS in NSW, not Victoria!
