Which Aerodrome Mk III
Heathrow Harry's right and it is Momote, Manus Island, PNG
Photo taken when John Wilson and I were assessing the airfields I proposed the 146s we hoped to sell Air Niugini would operate. While John and the aircrew were doing important things in the terminal shack, I set off on foot to take a few photos of the runway surface: I had just started when a large local in a pick-up truck came roaring up and asked me what I was doing. I explained who I was and what I was up to, as he had a couple of shotguns on the seat next to him and the man with the gun is always right.
“O.K., hop in, and I'll take you to the other end – it's far worse than this.” He turned out to be the airport manager and was hoping that an adverse report would help him get his runway upgraded.
Oh and I can't quite remember when I took it but I think it would have been 1982. Later than year we demonstrated a 146 in PNG but didn't go to Manus.

Around the same latitude as Cairns - but not in Australia
there are better ppics but they all have a bloody great sign with the Airport's name on it - I might have tried around Christmas but in the sober light of January...............................

More like Prestwick TBH - it has scheduled flights to around 6 destinations with two airlines (including the National Airline)
over 3000 m runway approx 1100 m AMSL
Named after a 19th Century journalist but also sometimes refered to by the date of the Declaration of Independence

Looks more like Hampshire or Wiltshire to me.
At first glance, I thought it was a WWI aircraft. Then I noticed the "drop tanks"!
