Which Aerodrome Mk III
Correct Sabredog SiR.
High River Air Station, Alberta, 1920s. Elev 3390 ft. Probably DH-4s, with four ex-RFC Bessoneau hangars.
During WWII No 5 EFTS relocated from Lethbridge to High River (due to the frequent high winds at Lethbridge.) Three runways, two hangars and a major camp were built – with 106 Classes graduated for the BCATP, initially on Tiger Moths, then Cornells.
This tells the story http://www.bombercommandmuseum.ca/bcatphighriver.html
And now it's all gone apart from one hangar and the RCAF flag. You can just make out the runways in the 2002 GE overhead. LFH

Sabredog has control.

I think this picture shows damage at Clark AFB in the Philippines caused by fall-out from the eruption of Mt Pinatubo (sp?) and which ultimately led to the closure of the base. (Google Images not used!)

Good ranging shot,SHO. I take my hat off to you!
The airfield is situated in the southern part of Central America, and the country has strong culturally and historical links to South America.
