Here is a read only link to the Aerodrome Database - WhichAerodrome.xlsx. Up to date as of 1/5/2019. Catching up slowly - up to May 2019 now (Mar 2020).
Here are some "rules" for Which Aerodrome. These are based upon the original suggestions from the very first thread, and have a few additions. Also please be patient as when you are active others may be asleep.

Thats the one evansb - you have control.
I thought there was something unsual in it's shape when I came across it, although it looks somewhat different today.

Polynesia?
The red flags (not coincident with the road [or gate] but in line with the runway C/L) indicate a flood (tide?); I also see a VOR (of the US type in the top RH of the photo).
{Edit} I had a look at Goggle Earth, and it appears not to be French Polynesia. Which is a pity, because I was reminiscing about the old Tintin book about Papeete Faaa. Oh well, when I'm old & rich, I'll go there. OK, when I get the rich bit as well!}

In answer to the question not asked, I wasn't visiting the nudist beaches to recognise it, I was singing my way around the Langedoc with a chamber choir.

Is the flat-topped thing an extant building?
I felt like chipping in by asking if it might be Shennington or Hus Bos..?
But in my heart, I think those trees are telling me something... Maybe Pocklington way? Somewhere within striking distance of the A1, perhaps? A voice is saying 'Northants'...

Neither Weston on the Green nor in Northants (or Pocklington way). Not Shenington (although the relevant club expedition the year before was to Edgehill Airfield, now Shenington). Not Hus Bos either.
The old tower was still there last time I passed that way, but an inspection on Google Earth seems to show it has been knocked down now.

The crescent moon is quite evident, as is an ascent Jupiter.
So using my astromical almanac and the declination of the horizon, it's Abingdon at 7:30 pm on 27th Ocober 1972.

None of the above, although all are in easy cross-country range of the fleet shown (well, the T21 would need a rather good day, or a following wind).
The runways are are still present, and occasionally in use.
By the way, the astronomical assessment is 9 years out - 7th August 1963.
