Good morning HP!

What bothered me in the challenge was that I thought the air intake was below the cone (like in Model V) but I was unsure if you could hide the gull-wing in a silhouette.

I looked at the drone-story, but all pictures had the intake as for an horisontal-opposed, and the landing gear didn't seem retractable.

A nice challenge!

Good morning everyone.

TC has hit the target again with the Superior Satellite.

He has sadly had to declare OH, so off you go - under starters orders........................

Who's M?

Yours looks like it has no power, which I can't believe.

Another secret British Air Ministry project?

Is that thing on the front an exhaust pipe or a snorkel?
Austria-Hungary or Germany, WWI?

Edit: but more importantly, on what is it supposed to land? For I can spot no wheels nor floats...

HP,

I think it could well be an amphibian, but I'm sure it was only a project.

C'mon Graeme - we all know you're lurking.

It is from a schematic picture and missing the landing gear. It had wheels and was a conventional land plane. Built and flew. Not Austro-Hungarian, and was post WW1.

The thing is a radiator.

Want the scheme without silhouetting?

Am I right about the superchargers
"G, turbo-compressor"

"A, propeller shaft"

So, a turbocharger then.

Since that is exhaust-driven I cannot for the life of me work out why the exhaust faces forward. That would only increase exhaust back pressure, which is the last thing you would want!!!

I remain baffled.

'E' - intercoolers.

Oi! - is it twin-engined? I see a driveshaft below the front upper fuselage....
