Partly I'm busy with some domestic hassles, partly I don't know what to say.
I can't imagine why a good and stable high wing design should be changed into a floating-prone low wing.
First thought when I first saw the silhouette was "maritime recon".
Second was that the nose gear looks like the one on a B-29.
Third was third world country.

I know and you know that skytrain's picture is a flipped, greyscaled picture of an Evangel 4500 prototype. My problem is that I learned it from your post

It's a while since we had one of these - ain't difficult.......
Did have - lost it!! To get one the parachute had to be made by Irvin - not all were.
