Good Afternoon Mel,

Based on your clues I believe it is the Rublič R-7 Racek?

Open House if correct.

Oh well, that didn't last long did it, but at least it got the thread moving again

No need for the question marks one11, it is indeed the French Potez 63.11

one11 has control

Graeme,
I'm sure you're right - my source states it was re-engined with three Wright Whirlwind J-5s just before it stalled in a turn while on a test flight carrying a fuel load intended to get it across the Atlantic. The subsequent crash killed its crew of Commander Noel Davis and Lieutenant Stanton Wooster of the US Navy.
Your picture shows part of the aircraft's name & sponsor "American Legion".
Congratulations!
John C.

P.S. My link will not work unless you include the magic word bl*gsp*t in place of the asterisks.

First apologies for leaving the thread unattended for longer then planned. Graeme has it. A Keystone Pathfinder which according to my source was the American Legion rebuilt after its crash for West Indian Aerial Express and operated by them 1927/1928 before being absorbed into Pan American. Noyade has control.

No apologies required Doug, it's a big planet and life is unpredictable. Thanks for the Pathfinder, although I wasn't sure as the cockpit and strut layout were a little different on my net image.

Here's one not on Mel's list...

Plenty of clues there. Another Czech , the HC-4 unfinished prototype in the excellent but crowded Prague-Kbely museum.

Open house at least until later today.

SincoTC is correct. Only one built and it crashed off a coral reef on the way to Australia. You have control.
