Well I see your light is on so maybe you are still around for a clue. A European design as Martin has established, but fitted with a Russian engine.

Thanks mate.

I can't stay around because up at 0600 in order to get to the Goodwood Festival of S p e e d.

Needless to say I won't be around tomorrow.

Got complimentary tickets to the Festival and all kinds of stuff.

I wonder how many people there have moved at 1450 mph ?????

Cheers.

Not quite that fast, but I can at least claim to having flown at speeds approaching that figure courtesy of a well known, but sadly retired, airliner

Thanks mate. Looking now. Could be a while. Don't feel compelled to wait up.

The sun is just coming up, presently 4.8 deg and looking cloudy.

That's cold! It's nearly dark here but the temp is still over 17 deg! Humid and cloudy thought with more rain on the way.

Yeah, predicted max is 16 deg.C. Don't like winter and the cold. Don't like the rain. Don't like cloudy days.

I feel a song coming on.

Got today off - gonna paint a bedroom. Not sure if that's a good idea, temp/paint wise?

The IAR-831?

Right company, but it's not the 831.

No probs paint wise, but guess you'll have to have the windows open so you'll be a little chilly!

I was thinking there was a minimum temp. for the paint chemistry to work? The tin instructions says it should be between 10 and 30 deg.C. Maybe I should wait for summer?

IAR-821?

Ken, I have to stop fart-arsing about and start this.

Open house if it is the IAR-821. I'll take a break after the first coat and re-look at your jet intake.

Cheers.

IAR-821?
That's the one 20 examples produced of this agricultural aircraft plus one 2 seater.

From Observer's 1969:

You have control

Correction....Graeme has declared Open House. Hope the painting goes ok Graeme

Not American mate.

The sentence above it reads, "The Togolese Air Force operates its aircraft in the counter-insurgency role".
