Can't see the wingtips, so is it the Aerospool WT-9 Dynamic LSA ?

Not the WT-9 David, but it is a European design. Nothing special with the wingtips...no winglets, no curling up or down

Well, it's a ringer for the Aveko 3L Sprint but yours has no chin cooling intake whereas that one does.

edit: may I assume that it's not classified in Europe as an LSA ?

No connection, but you are in the right country. This aircraft appears significantly larger than the Sprint.

Mmm, should be easy to answer but it's not. I suspect you are right because of its size, but there is nothing to indicate whether it is or isn't. There is also the issue of whether the aircraft has actually been built yet! The silhouette is from a mock-up, so needless to say it is a comparitively recent (but not brand new) design. 2009.

No, they are straight albeit tapering towards the tips. They do look swept but I think its a product of a wide angle lens.

Want to see the original piccie?

Open House please if correct, as I'm turning in now 'coz it's another early start tomorrow, besides which, my connection here tonight is very flakey again

Got it in one Trevor, well done The mock-up was first shown in public at Aero Expo in Germany in 2009, but seemingly no development since. In searches it would appear there is some information in the current edition of Janes, should any of our followers be wealthy enough to own one

Bingo.

Yes mate, we do have a four day weekend - probably feet up in front of the telly to watch the celebrations (with glass in hand).

I expect it will be broadcast over much of the world. Keep an eye open for the royal barge, "Spirit of Chartwell".

We spent a weekend on it on the Thames the weekend of the royal wedding - it is very up-market.

Hope to see you on the thread over the weekend.

God save the Queen.

Graeme has declared Open House.

G'day Karlark.

I think I see a "crank?" F4U Corsair?

I quite like the "at height" photos. Logically, it is what observers usually see. Brian's Bloch formation was a beauty so I'll look around for something similar. Cheers.

G'day Noyade,

Yes, I believe them to be Vought F4U Corsairs . Hard to be believe that it is not on Mel's list that I can see.... unless listed as something different?

Thanks Karlark.

it is not on Mel's list
Yes, I had a quick look and couldn't find it either. I guess because it's so recognisable is the problem, unless you try something like your photo above.

A loner this time....
