Good call on the Parrot Martin...I'd forgotten all about that one. Nice challenge David.

Unfortunately I'm still tied up with work - only quickly looked in during my tea break. If no one has taken up the OH later I'll prep one and get it posted.

G'day Brian.

Is it a photo from WWII mate?

I tried to hone in on the guy in the middle at the top...

The photo pre-dates WW.II by only about a year. Late 1930s. The aircraft was licence-built in a different country than its origin, so I'll accept either of two correct answers.

Morning Ken ,

I'm just grabbing a hasty coffee break in a very hectic week!!

I'll second that Bloch MB.200 and the Czech built Aero MB-200

Brian's picture is at the bottom of the page here:

Aero MB-200 ::

Oh well, work calls again

Hi Trevor...well never found that picture - I just looked at photo's of the Bloch and the 3-view - which looked about right. Anyway thanks for confirming the guess, and for the link

and the Czech built Aero MB-200
Well, I was close when I said Avia....began with an A anyway

Been a busy few weeks for me too, so not had much opportunity to play.

I'm sure Brian will be happy for us to continue, and it so happens I have one ready to go, so stand-by.

Odd shape...a flying car design? Are we viewing from the rear left quarter?

Not a flying car, and it's viewed from the front left and a little below.

Looks like someone took a Vari-Ez, slung a cargo pod underneath and for good measure stuck a MAD at the rear! Now, with that bit at the rear I am wondering where the engine(s) are?

Vari-Ez
Little did I know how close I was....it's another Rutan product, the Long-Ez, modified by DARPA with a Pulse Detonation Engine
