Home now and going to prepare something to eat.

That's near enough for me Reg; although, I have it down as a Breguet-Michelin BM.IV as do nearly all the photo captions I've seen on the Web of the subject replica posed outside an Hotel.

These, and only photos of the "real" type IV I've found, all show the twin nose undercarriage arrangement, whereas the type 5 all appear to have a single nosewheel, the main thing is that it was a bomber and not just a Breguet!!

RegDep has control

Funny: AQ calls it Bleriot 5 (with the twin nose wheel), and pictures a statue of it in Clermont-Ferrend airport.

My notes say that I had submitted BM-IV, and it was accepted (but I looked at AQ to respond to you) .

And you picture is of the same replica/statue.

Here's my next, although will go to bed soonish…..

Me too and I'm pretty sure that it's correct (and that's the caption to all the Hotel photos)!!

Annoying thing is that the "Additional info" URL is to a picture of the single wheel fighter

Oh well, it's only a game.

Has your challeng another characteristic fin shape, or is it part of horizontal surfaces?

Must dash; burning smell coming from kitchen, sleep well

Before you do mate...looks like a very large engine for a biplane?
Spare a clue for a soon to be lonely colonial?

Ain't much better here mate! Miserable looking day. Rained all night. Looking forward to summer.
Got any parting ideas for the morning silhouette hunt?

All this post-mortem talk of AQ - Maybe Reg's is American and Travel Air related?

Christmas on the beach eh

You might be onto something with the American/Travel Air and the rather large donk!

12 cylinders 480 hp, Gareme. Part of its largeness is just pipework.

AQ dissection was just about the Breguet-Michelin. No Travel Air nor espionage involved here. And no Yanks.

Here +25 and sunny today, tomorrow's forecast +28 and sunny….

…and only noting #883, as edited, now. It's the fin shape…..

Never been a beach man Trevor. Hate the salty water with dangerous slimy critters about and then there's that sand, goddamn sticks to ya! Then there's the sun glare, potential melanomas, half-naked girls running about....disgusting!

Thanks for the clues Reg!

I could stab all day and get nowhere mate, especially if it's a Hungarian thing like LM's earlier. Fine by me, but your choice.

Love the beanies but ineffective. Their gonads must have retracted to somewhere near their pancreas.

Their gonads
..if any.

Not Hungarian. Not even obscure.

A few moments before the challenge picture. The gonad-related-looking thing is loose, and flew ballistically just under the belly of the silhouetted challenge (but I cropped it off )
