Thanks David, that's kind of you. I am still a little puzzled though - so is there a photo of the RR-11 anywhere? Obviously at some point it was on the website that Martin referred to, but it appears to have disappeared?
Anyway, here is the next challenge:

Tusa or not Tusa?
Ah, Ken, there lies a problem. My original image, not from the internet but a very detailed ext, refers to it being the IMPA RR-11. One built only. It says the Tusa was a follow-on from the shown machine, which was the prototype only. Therefore, in my mind, not the Tusa. RR
Edit: I just checked. There was one RR-11 (shown). It was built and first flown in 1942 and designer by Alfredo Davinz Ferrer. Built of Spruce and Birch there was just one. Later IMPA-designed the Tu-Sa, contracted in 1943 with a stipulated 25 aircraft production run. The RR-11 was powered by a Lycoming O-145-B2.

Interesting Martin. The way it is painted it looks as though it was a prototype, so it does make sense that it is the RR-11. Nice challenge mate.....now we just need to find a photo of a Tu-sa, which considering 25 were made you would have thought there would be one or two around?
So any thoughts on mine? A somewhat more recent design.

Thank you for the kind thoughts gentlemen. The Ark is battle-damaged but liveable.
The levee held and the river level is dropping. Evacuees hopefully moving back later today.

Good morning Ken.
So, your challenge is not from Argentina, Europe, or the USA.
So is it from another South American country or perhaps Russia.
Off we go around the world...........

Morning.
Firstly, Graeme, glad to know all is ok and that the defences held. Amazing pictures. I reckon Mt Ararat is the place to be though - mind you, if you have thunder storms you could be a little exposed. Be kind of ironic to be safe on the mountain top and then get struck by lightening!
Back to the challenge, not from America (north or south), nor is it from Russia.
