And while I'm answering questions, Trevor jumps in and strikes! Yes its the British designed (but Malaysian built) AVCEN Jertpod. Well done Trevor

This was the artists impression - one of many on the web:

And here's the reason there are no decent pictures of it!

http://malfly.********.com/2011/07/avcen-jetpod.html
One wonders what might have been had this not happened.

Edit, seems above link does not work, but do a search for it and you'll find an article in the Malaysian Flying Herald.

Edit 2...Flight article:
'Jetpod' air taxi entrepreneur killed in test crash

OK, after grappling with a dropped network and resorting to a USB stick for transfer here we go!!

Edit: All lights are out at the moment, so I assume they've all got their snouts in the trough ! Therefore, and with that in mind, I'll head off home myself, back in about an hour!

G'day Trevor. Quick Saturday morning stab, as I'm about to drop the youngest off at his first job...McDonalds. A lot of snouts there.

G'day Graeme,

Sorry mate, not a Pilatus!

McDonalds. A lot of snouts there..
In the trough or in the burgers??

I visited a house of the "Golden Arches" in Kuala Lumpur a few years ago; 'twas really weird, exactly like here in the UK and all the world over, except all the staff were pensioners instead of in their teens !!

Hope your boy enjoys it

Speaking of snouts, is yours (the challenge that is) Boche - Argus/Hirth?

pensioners instead of in their teens
There's hope for me yet!

What's the story behind that?

Yes, no and yes!

The sprightly old bugger who was zooming around with a broom, said he was eighty-five and that the youngsters were too busy studying, which was good 'coz he hadn't got a pension and was pleased to get the work, plus he liked meeting people and practicing his english!!

Now that's interesting mate. Only the other day there was a report showing that Aussie kids are falling behind the rest of the world, "acacdemically." Hard to believe, I know.

Our Universities are full of overseas students.

I only have one decent "Bible of Boche Flying Machines"...?....

It seems that you only need that one mate!!

It is the one-off Fieseler Fi 99 "Jungtiger" of 1937.

Morning/Afternoon David.

Saw this as a potential GIMP awhile back, the Weick W-1, I suspect? Have to be open house again if it is I'm afraid. Will hunt for some challenges tomorrow. Cheers.
