All quiet. Clue time: An aircraft that was to go into production but circumstances caused it to be cancelled. It's spirit does however live on

Offline for a while now. Will check in later.

The Johnnie Walker?

Wrong spirit? American machine? Was thinking Rockwell Commander112-114 sort of thing but you're telling me that only one made?

Head Skinner

This aircraft crashed in 1964 and killed my neighbor Jack Sepos. Family members were watching and said he was not putting the aircraft into any kind of stress. NTSB said he exceeded its stress limits and that it was pilot error. Jack gave me my first airplane ride and I can not believe he did not know the SJ-1 Limits. He was a great guy and was well liked.

Hi jarnold and welcome!

You would be referring to the challenge revealed on page 100 of this thread last August

Thanks for your comments, interesting but sad to learn of its and your neighbours demise and a shock for you and his family!

Pilot Error is an easy option sometimes, especially if he's not around to challenge it! You will see I made a comment about how the wings used seemed to have been converted to the "gull-wing" shape. What broke and where?

Hello everyone and a belated Happy New Year.

Apologies for being absent for so long. As yet we have no telephone system or internet in our new building.

Happy New Year to too mate

I was beginning to wonder if you'd been dragged into the waste disposal unit on that snazzy new kitchen !

When do you expect to get "wired at work"

Looks that way I agree, but it's Ken's challenge mate, I just saw that someone had posted, so I looked in to see if they'd got it and then replied to him !

I'm just putting up a cockpit (if it's not on Mel's list) and then I'm off home too!

Catchya later
