Looks like an Electra with 5 bladed props! Any connection?

Edit, is it the proposed Lockheed P-7, which was to be the Orion replacement?

Whoops…. You know, I don't even have a scooter. Me Missus has the car(s) and she parks my Reeboks next to the door, where they collect dust all day.

Yours is Walter Extra - EA500, the "Flying Drop" (in fact "Der fliegende Tropfen", which sounds a bit less untoward… )

Maybe it's related to that "Ascender" made by the makers of the Gee-Bees?
Ascender
I highly doubt that, though.
OH in the unlikely etc. etc.
Nite!

HappyPass, mine is not the "Ascender" , but the picture is, in fact, surprisingly close. The two guys in your picture would probably be the father and uncle of the maker of the challenge aircraft.

Good morning TC. It is but no picture there.

My heart aches for Brian .

I knew all the time what the challenge was (what an interesting aeroplane!) but had promised not to play if I crack a challenge too easily and without subject matter knowledge…….
