Evening Graeme...not Polish either.

In terms of "geographical" suggestions I guess you and evansb have been closest .

Would never have got the WC challenge...went through all the HB models I could find yesterday evening - closest I could see was the CC, but that was definitely not a bomber. Wish I'd said it now!

Morning Gents,

First break of the day!

Ken, is it the Hopfner / Hirtenberg HV.15 ?? (or maybe WN-15)

OH if correct please, as I'm back to the grind now!

Should I update?
Could be worse...could be Prussia!
I got a newish Times Atlas last year...lots of changes from my previous one, which was from the mid 60's. A lot less pink on the world map these days!

Worth looking closely at the other two countries you've mentioned

Try this Ken. (I've just gotta find where I got it, what it is and if it's on Mel's list - gimme a minute. )

Excellent. Manufacturer and designation! My source just called it the "Nieuport monoplane of 1913''.

Back to you Ken.

Thanks Graeme. Initially I thought it was the 1913 winner...a Depurdussin, but didn't look right so had to do a little research. Found a good website in the process thats list ALL the competing aircraft - sadly no pictures though.

Here's something a little newer:

Edit to say challenge withdrawn.

How new is that Ken? Looks like a pusher prop version of the Gulfstream Peregrine?

No idea mate, too modern for me. Probably best if I leave if for "the one who swoops".

At the back, two horizontal tails? Contra-prop?

Just the one horizontal Graeme. What looks like the 2nd one is the starboard wing. Single 4 bladed prop

Listed here?...
Not that I can see.
