Absolutely correct!. Also known as Avarua, which is the name of the village beyond. One of the few places in the world you can easily call 'Paradise'.
Incidentally the same local bloke has been greeting all international flights at the terminal with a few tunes on his ukelele for over 20 years (night and day he never misses).
The coast road around the runway threshold in the foreground (called the 'outer') goes right round the entire circular island - takes less than an hour to drive. There are only four buses on Raro, two of them have their front destination boards set to 'CLOCKWISE' and the other two have 'ANTICLOCKWISE' on theirs. Doesn't matter which one you take - they all get there.
Descol - you have control.
