Just tried to Google Ecotourism in South America. Hopeless

Everybody and his kid sister in the business.

Edit: And in Belize you can easily have a dozen airstrips within a radius of 50 miles....

Been to Guayaquil. Down the river looks a bit like that.....

Mr_Grubby is correct Well done Tortuguero, Costa Rica, IATA code TTQ, ICAO code MRAO, has a runway a mere 3275 feet long by 40 feet wide. Served daily from San Jose by Nature Air and Sansa.

You have control.

Hi .

It is indeed Helsinki-Vantaa HEL/EFHE, most likely 9 December 1956. Finnish UN peacekeeping troops on their way to Suez.

Over to you Sir!

Cannot stand the silence

Just as the starting clue: This is not the home base of the aircraft in the foreground.

Skytrain had it first. Kai Tal between 1961 and 1963 which are the years when the aircraft carried these colours. Bamboo scaffoldings.

Old Bald Pilot, I had noticed the letters on the generator but did not scrub them, because did not immediately find that they were the acronym for Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAEC) .

Over to Skytrain (you are flanking me on all fronts ).

Thanks RegDep - must admit I hadn't paid attention to the HAEC branding.

Will have to be Open House.

TCF,

I've been back to #3910 whereas it was identified, and confirmed, as Skaebrae, I posted it in the belief that it is 'Twatt' as pictured here Orkney Image Library - Runways at the wartime airfield at Twatt and it has been only reading the chat below the picture link the poster admits he made a mistake and it is in fact Skaebrae!
