Me too.
This looks like the things the shopping malls give to families to put the kids in and play car or airplane.
Edit to say that it looks older than modern ultralights. 40s would be my guess, American, maybe, but could not find any matching.....
Percy Spencer somehow hovers in the back of my head, but he was pretty aquatic....
Could't be Spencer Air Car Junior, could it? No. Wrong nose.

Agree.
If it is twin boom but with just one vertical, I'm wondering if its an Alaparma or Montelli design? Can't find anything that comes close though. The lack of detail on the silhouette, crude outline of doors etc, still makes me think its a project.
Just saw your edit - yes, I went thru Aerofiles but couldn't see anything. I'm going to take a look at Russia now!

Nice Ken, very nice, glad to see that little bastard of a thing gone.
Just curious mate, how long did it take you to find that, one hour, two hours, more...?

Good morning Graeme
Nearly 2 hours Graeme. I was convinced it was a project but just couldn't find it.
Sorry about that RegDep - its the effect I have on people! .
Still we must wait for RR to confirm - hope he's around soon.
Just watching the long awaitied repeat of the old BBC1 series, Colditz, from the early 70's - brilliant stuff!

Commercial break!
Don't recall that one. I do remember others such as the Pathfinders and Danger UXB all around the same era.
Not at all - this one was just bugging me! Besides I wanted to beat RD to it!
Back to the box....
I think it was called "Wings" - WW1 RFC drama?
It's official, I lack dedication.
Back to the box....
'Wings' was a great series, filmed with a combination of R/C models and some full-size replicas including, if I remember correctly, a BE2c converted from a Tiger Moth.
'Flambards' from ITV around the same period was also good. One of the characters was a pre WW1 aircraft designer, and his planes featured quite a bit.

Hi Mechta - yes I remember Flambards. Wasn't there a connection with Cornwall Aero Park at Helston?
I'll have to keep an eye out for Wings.
Closing down now for the night - have a good day Graeme - catch you later.
