Just acquired a new 40 inch HD TV. You got HD in the backwoods yet?
Big country, big tellies mate. The 40" is too small for the lounge room so it's been delegated to the bedroom...

I was wondering whether it was a Lockheed design? They had a couple of twin engined aircraft projects of similar appearance, albiet I believe they were bombers as opposed to transports. Mind you, the nose looks more like a French design?

Graeme, hope you had a good fathers day mate? Nice TV for the bedroom, but I'd get grief if I wore my shoes in bed!

Who could forget the lovely Ursula from Dr No!

Lockheed design?
That's what I was thinking Ken. They certainly dabbled in the idea. Remember the Model 30 from page 428?...

Thats what I was thinking of (I think!), but I don't have the Putnam book....I just recalled seeing the drawing somewhere....Air Pictorial maybe? So does the book have anything else to offer? I am still thinking about the nose...it just doesn't "look" Lockheed.

Neither do I mate.

Would you date Hesham's image prior to 1940?

Been thinking about the era...yeah, I reckon prior to 1940....unless....a German transport (they had a lot of tailless designs)?

What about the Handley Page one?

Maybe Martin was onto something there? I'm lousy with projects, amongst other things.
