Well and truly tied up yesterday and today and only got an hour today and have got to go very soon.
This looks like a very good challenge from skytrain and already seems to have been exhaustively searched.
Could it be the unbuilt planned Hungarian Weiss Manfred WM-123 Ezustnyil II ? It has a similar planform and the inverted gull wing of the radial engined WM-23, and I suppose the increased span, larger fin and aft moved horizontal tailplane might be expected with the longer/heavier DB-605 engine that was to be used. I realise that it probably isn't this as I type, 'coz it's probably just too late to be Pre-WWII.
Art'noon LM. I just sent you a PM and now I see your light is on, N.B the variant I mentioned has a V-12 DB mate! Gotta go now, I don't think my guess above is correct, but OH if it is as I won't be back 'til Monday.
BTW, has anyone noticed the very faint extended "wozzat" (dive-brake maybe) under the fuseelage just behind the wing?
Y'all have a good weekend!
