Interesting.

I note that it's in RGB colour too, not monochrome.

You've been looking a book about STOL machines, Ken! It looks like a Helio machine but I'm sure it isn't that easy!!!

If I searched an attendee list at a Valdez gathering would I find it?

It certainly has STOL characteristics. Its not a Helio though.

Its possible, but short of looking through a list of attendee's I wouldn't know.

Just checked this years competition and there are not any of these featured in the competition results.

Not a Zenair although there is a tenuous link.....not sure that will help on any searches though.

Yes LM, it is a taildragger....was the wheel at the rear and lack of nosewheel a giveaway?!!

That was in response to RRs' Zenair question - they are almost exclusively tricycle aren't they?

Now looking again at my Xmas card list.

I'm sure it could but I cannot see any reference to one of these being used for that purpose.

the wing looks very "zenair" and the tail is quite distinctive... I'm stuck again......

Is it home-built, Ken?

I'm not at home!

Another thing - it appears to have full-span slotted Fowler flaps.

Wheressa ailerons?

On some of those STOL wings they have mods that draw down the ailerons partly to add the flapeffect and then at around mid-travel the ailerons take effect

Off to have my lunch!

RR, the wing is that tenuous link....!

Its classified as a LSA although looking at the website it can also be purchased in kit form.
