Well, I've got some serious googling to do as I have the first American bomber listed as the Martin GMB of 1918?

I've been playing with image a bit, and that uniform looks like a very old version of the British Post Office.

So is it by any chance British?

Yes, British and he does work for the Post Office.
This is a rehearsal at Hendon for the 1911 Coronation mail service that was to start a few days later.

Well try this then...according to Peter Lewis this aircraft was the first to fly cargo by air in Britain..
