Last 24 hour views at SC 1,746
I don't understand that. Doesn't seem possible?

It is definitely possible - I've seen it happen before.

Mark a time and check for yourself sometime.

Standby please.............

If I refresh my screen, say twenty times looking for new posts in SC, does the SC counter increase by 20?

I certainly don't believe 1,746 different members looked at SC in 24 hrs.

No - only if you come out of SC and then go back to it.

Then it will log another viewing.

Meanwhile......

Graeme, even as we speak, there are 86 (19 members & 67 guests) viewers in this H&N forum (the members who have not logged in but are lurking are counted as guests).

Mate is yours French? We used to have a huge flying boat project that has counter-rotating propellers and no apparent way of taking off (too large propellers) here some time during my "career"…..

They play no part in the accumulating number?

Two tractor plus a pusher? Or is that an aerial?

LM, my memory was of CAPRA R.80 flying boat.

Graeme.

They play no part in the accumulating number?
Sure they do. They show the vast interest among the "community" to whatever the challenges here are etc. That's what keeps Mate ticking.

Eight engines - pushers and tractor.

That's not an aerial.

really big.
How big?

Well to me, it looks sorta XP-58 Chain Lightning in appearance...and size. Or XC-120.

Bigger still?

Yeah, that's nice. But looking...not logged in...will not increase the "View Number" for any thread.

Why not? Hit count. Like in any website where you do not log in, but create a hit. Without it, you could not sell any advertising in any web site.

LM, We are devastated because you said not French as we just found nice projects of eight tandem engined translatic flying boats but the are French

Reg, I have looked at SC while Europe/UK sleeps and on rare occasions no one is logged in, but there are guests like myself (not logged in) and have looked and re-looked at SC while logged out and the view number does not change.

It changes in "bursts". Probably just updated in intervals.
