Open House and further challenges not valid until challenge confirmed by KBPsen.

His light is off at the moment, so the 12 hour rule will be invoked at 0120 GMT if he is unable to get back on thread.

For the benefit of the late and night shifts, may we please have a decision.

The thread is stalled and this is not fun.

Already declared OH. See previous posts. On top of that I was having dinner:- a gorgeous Prawn and bitter gourd curry cooked by my Bangladeshi room boy.

True this was posted before KBPsen confirmed buttrick's answer as correct, but surely its intent is clear and unambiguous! He was requesting an Open House and now that KPBsen has confirmed, what's the problem?

Edited to say that I was called away, so my post was delayed and that buttrick has replied for himself in the interim!

May I also take this opportunity to add to the welcome given to both buttrick and KBPsen, we could well do with some more active members

I would post one myself now, but the only one I had prepared was the SAI KZ IV , such is life, good challenge and well found

Oh well, no known players on the active list, maybe some lurking, but no takers for the OH. Therefore, while dinner is being prepared, here's one for the night shift or maybe g'day Graeme!

G'day/evening Stig!

Still in Russian made mate? The most distinctive Yak ever, the Yak 1000.

G'day mate, I thought that would grab your attention !!

The most distinctive (and most unsuccessful) Yak ever! It is the unflown Yakovlev Yak-1000

It never managed to get off the runway while exploring most of its width due to gross steering problems with its then novel bicycle undercarriage.

Noyade has control

Thanks Trevor.

Stepping out briefly and will leave the light on.

You amazed me (but then again you are the Stig ) with Martin's front view silhouette identification a while back, what was it, Iraqi I think?

Care to try again?....

Not really mate, I'm on it at the moment, but it's dropped three times since you posted your challenge and hung me out to dry after I found the AIDC derivative of the T-28 and had to restart the router and login again and found Brian had made his good call first ! My provider is locking horns with the line operator over what the actual problem is. At least I'm not paying for all the investigation!

Gonna turn in soon as I've got a 5am start tomorrow.

Catchya later, have a good day

The next interesting thing would be the slat-like things in the leading edges. Any additional pics ?

No photos available. It was a pre-WW.II twin-engine military design.
