Reg,
Agreed; your conclusions all looks pretty reasonable to me! What about Warsaw pact countries that the Soviets used to for their second string aircraft and then gave them their designations, maybe competitor project of the Delfin and Iskra?
More or less ground to a halt now and in serious need of further info!!
I expect you'll be turning in soon, sleep well mate, I'm pretty sure it'll still be here in the morning (unless the Wizard has it in one of his books)!!
Edited to say;
Aha!! I see that WK's light has just come on, so dont go yet mate!!

Jus saw your post, the Czechs may be a country to peruse, In fact they won a Soviet trainer order, which Sukhoi lost (sic!), I think. And why not Poles, too. But too tired now. Take care.
Edit to say: Standing by mate. Cannot bear the suspense, though .

RegDep is right with Soviet Union.
I think this one is causing too much headaches. It is the Anotonv An-20, but when Googling another An-20 pops up al the time.
Suggest to ask RegDep for the next post (he guessed the country)

How I failed.
My peanut-brain chronological thought process...
I don't recognise it!
Project?
The Carma Weejet?
No.
Didn't the guy who designed the Weejet work for North American?
North American project?
Lockheed? They also had transport designs.
Alternative to the Temco Pinto?
Russian?
Yak project?
Early design prior to the Yak-30...?...
Head hurts.
Stop thinking...

Hi RR,
Sorry to hear of your adversities. Sick home without broadband sounds unbearable to me Good that both are over now .
No, not a Yak RR. European Union.
Edit to add: Mine is a project for a rather small jet.

Hello Reg,
I'm sorry, you've had a lonesome day; I've been in meetings all day and had no chance to look in.
Finished half an hour ago, so time for a quick look.
I think it's a Letov KBL-12 ?
Unfortunately, I've got to go to a relatives birthday this evening, so it'll have to be an Open House if correct. Perhaps LM will oblige, or maybe Graeme will be back soon to play!
Sorry mate, gotta go now, I'll look in as soon as I can gracefully leave the party
Edited: Forgot say nice clues Did anybody find the An-20??

Yes TC it is the Letov Ljubljana, Slovenia, project Letov KBL-12 for a two-seat tandem trainer with a Turbomeca Palas 150 Kp engine. The designers were Ljubljana University of Technology students.
When yesterday looking for Walter's elusive challenge, I found this from a site that contained almost everything else except just what Walter had posted .
TC has requested Open House.
Edit: I did not find the Antonov in the web. Not saying that it is not, didn't try all tricks.
Edit 2 for Antonov:

Edit 2 for Antonov:
An-20 (the second of that name) 1960. Competitor Yak-30, L-29.

Good heavens, good only for left turns?
God I'm slow.
Sorry mate, all those Letov clues were lost on me.
The "project" above has three engines. That inner starboard engine is directly above the fuselage.
