Not Swiss. The aircraft was an experimental prototype.

Not much chop when it comes to controls, but is this another glider of the Hotspur era?

American?

It looks like the tandem cockpit is surrounded by the wing? In fact, the front cockpit appears to be level with the leading edge?

experimental prototype
Maybe the General Airborne XCG-16?

Breakfast is over - back to work.

The nose curvature, perspex squares and sparse controls - are we still in glider mode?

I'm thinking Waco?

Waco Glider Walk Around

Why the wood chock between the rudder pedals and the steering/control wheel? Funny how the brain works but it just reminded me (and completely unrelated) of the Waterfall investigation.

Waterfall rail accident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Marks near the deadman's pedal indicated some drivers were wedging a conveniently sized signalling flag to defeat the deadman's pedal

Identify the model and name.
Sounds like AviaQuiz mate.

So, definitely a Waco (manufacturer).
I was thinking CG-4A (model).

And a name?!

Wiki says the Brits called it the Hadrian.....?
