Well, I thought it might be the front fuselage of a Vampire F3; the part between the cockpit and the nose-cone but with most of the top hatch covers shattered and missing
Wasn't the Vampire composite with wood making up the front fuse section?

Well to me it's a 44 gallon (205 litres) drum? Tilted downwards with the rotting/rusting taking a bevelled approach?...

Then again, what the hell would I know about cockpits? I was always in the back seat!

Speaking of drums...very useful things. My latest creation involves 22 gallons. Fire bucket/barbecue with sliding cast-iron top...

Lucas??
It is a Lucas mate. The Lucas L7. I'm sure you would have got there if at home.

Control is yours if you wish.

You are too generous mate....from a magazine or a book?...don't recognise the format.

Nothing prepared and won't have much opportunity to monitor so Open House.

Evening Ken,

My first time on today and only a fleeting visit, looks to have been quiet as Graeme predicted!

Is that a Bakeng Deuce ??

Sorry, but it'll have to be Open House if correct! There appear to be a lot of cockpit variations, but the airframe looks correct.

Bakeng Deuce
The sunshade over the panel reminds me of a description of 1950s/1960s cars:

I was going to say A400M but the captain's arm badge looks more like a C-17.

I would say A400M too. Instrument layout looks wrong for a C-17.

It is indeed the A400M. So Ken is it yours or VX275's?

Skytrain can have it, I still have to master the IT skills for posting photos to the site.
