Don't know if still there, but in 1999
there was a Puss Moth encased/preserved in the street
outside Indian AL offices on this field. Replica or not, unsure,
but it represented the first aircraft flown by J R D Tata,
founder of Tata Airlines, precursor of Air India.

So the 1-11 demonstrator would be on a hunt for new customers? Lagos?

Not Entebbe but a move in the right direction away from Nairobi towards West Africa. I appreciate there are no real clues other than the aircraft but from what I can remember it was only BUA VC 10s that flew the route normally.
