Not Pau, but you are much closer.

That would have been a flying meet around 1910 -12. I repeat that the aerodrome is still in use. (Or at least one of the same name)

seacue's challenge

There were many Grand Aviation weeks in France held after Reims so I will go for either the Grande Semaine d'Aviation Biarittz or the one held at Bordeaux in 1910

Sorry for trhe delay, I will go for Biarritz, the event I believe was held at Biarritz and Bayonne airfield and later moved to it's present location.

You picked the wrong one. However, by elimination, you now know that it is Beau Desert, Merignac, Bordeaux. Pardon the lack of accents.

Mel has control.

Thanks Seacue, I am always the one that calls heads and it turns out to be tails .
This one should not prove too difficult.

The name on the side of the building appears to have seven letters. Why do so many major cities have five or six-character names?

Does this large, plain building house a government agency?

Mel,
Don't bother with searching for the use of the building. I can do that if I really care.
