The SSK, that photo was of the arrival here in Norwich of two herons bought by Progressive Airways from Falk Air of Denmark in 1969 / 1970 They added to existing fleet of doves, later started training with viscounts but the whole thing collapsed .... along came Air Anglia .... and the rest is even more history now. As a local resident, I can assure you that it isn't Washington National Airport. KDCA was the subject of the very first challenge in this thread. Go back to message number 1 in the thread to see it.

Those planes at the lower left don't look like US airliners to me. Maybe B-24?
