Sorry, not Berlin Tegel, Storck Barracks at Katterbach, and not the French at Friedrichaven. The aerodrome is associated with the Storck Barracks, but not listed specifically as Katterbach. I am looking for the name of the airfield.

621andy is correct The field is named Illesheim, after the village you see in the photo. A former Luftwaffe base during WW.II. The U.S. Army Helicopter base is still active, and part of the U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach. Here is a shot taken in 1994: You have control.

Speedpig is correct The Alice Springs airport is no longer at the location portrayed, but the hangar belongs to Connellan Airways, and presently houses an aviation museum. The Alice Springs Airport is now located south of the city. Over to you.
