Thanks Simon
I try to give others a chance, I will be honest I was not sure about that one. Like oncemorealoft I thought it was the Northrop F5 Freedom fighter. I am sure this one will not last long.

evansb's challenge
My first thoughts were that it was possibly the Convair Sea Dart but the canopy was totally different. I would that the Avro CF-105 Arrow seems to fit the bill as that certainly had a split canopy.
Yes it is definately the Avro CF-105 Arrow.

Thanks for that Brian. I understand that all copies of the aircraft were destroyed and only part of a cockpit assembly was saved for posterity.
Here is a nice easy one for a Sunday afternoon.

There's a recently-completed replica of the Avro Arrow in the Toronto Aerospace Museum. Looks nice.

You have indeed identified it as Serial No 25071, however it is not a Focke-Wulf it is the Bucker Bu 181 Bestmann before restoration as I am sure you know.
Glenn Lacey purchased and operated the aircraft in the UK from 31st May 2003 to 31st May 2004 under its German Registration D-EDUB. In June 2004 the German registration was cancelled and the aircraft re registered as G-GLSU.

Ladies, Gents, apologies in advance if this one has been done before, as I have not been following this thread since its inception novelty many moons ago, and there is too much for me to review it all.
That said: Give this one a go, the clues are there:
