Atlas pilots don't post here. ATO is watching.

We had a Kalitta guy out of SYD the other day commuting to Detroit. Sounds painful.

Atlas still hiring though I wouldn't recommend trying to commute. Regular visits though, yes.

Amerijet DEC & GC sponsorship

Got a cold email from a recruitment company offering direct entry commands at Amerijet for E3s. The usual 1000 part 121 etc still applies. The kicker is that they are offering EB3 sponsorship (green cards) for applicants too. As far as I know, the only other carrier to offer that is Commuteair. Might not be a bad opportunity.

No idea. I only know what is in this email. I find it interesting though that they are offering the EB3 though.

Caveat emptor!

Do your homework on this. My 2 cents worth suggests it mite not be as rosy as it appears.

You have been warned.

They are the same as Overseas Manpower Solutions I believe, some interesting posts on another US based forum about them.

Sure is interesting. It's a sign of something or other.

I suspect there's a fee involved.

They do this for Cape Air and I am pretty sure for the EB2 they ask for a couple of payments of USD 10K.

Even though it is against the law in the USA for an employer to charge fees for visas.

They also drag out the green card wait to about 5 years.

Potential cost traps and dragging timelines aside, I do wonder exactly what Amerijet would do with their Aussie pilots that are waiting on advanced parole after submission but before receiving their EAD (Cannot leave the US in the interim)? Do they have a fleet that is domestic only? This is the issue Atlas faces if ever they offer EB3s.

Frontier $50k signing bonus

Pretty sure frontier is still taking E3s too. I'm sure there's strings attached to the $50k signing bonus.

cold emails from third parties promising things such as pathways to green cards should be pursued with extreme caution. Wasn’t that long ago a number of folks got shafted big time by a similar scheme. If it sounds too good to be true it almost certainly will be. Good luck.
edit - just to clarify, anyone at all promising a green card should be treated with caution. As most hopefully know, there is no guarantee ever. I know of more than a couple who had perm residency applications denied.

Stay away from OMS.......
They will leave you hanging and say goodbye to whatever fees you paid them. Don't ask me how I know.
Buyer be warned!

Significantly at Atlas - now offering Green Cards to E3 employed crew. Have also capped the hiring of E3’s to 100 per calendar year.

asolt,

Is there a place where Atlas is advertising this Green Card offer ? I'm not doubting your statement but don't see the public offer of that in the qualifications listed in the F/O job posting on their website.

It was being 'advertised' on LinkedIn, which would suggest it's being advertised elsewhere.
