Hey!...Chicken/Fish...
a reclining sea to rest in and a bed to sleep in ain't good enough for you?
What do you suggest...
a kitchen and lounge room plus an en suite as well?

The contract has been "outed" on another forum, and I see some interesting stuff in it, including:
* salary includes payment for any extension of duty, including days off, and leave. It includes all penalties and loading ,except O/N allowances... where the company reserves the right to provide actual meals in lieu of any allowance.
*1000 hours/year, 9 days off/month.
*salary to be reviewed AT LEAST annually.
*the only addition to base salary is profit share (3%), and performance bonus (5%), which will be explained in detail, once training has commenced. Performance bonus has been asked about in interviews, but information provided is vague. Allegedly, if you use sick days, or cause trouble with unions, or refuse duties on days off (i.e don't keep your nose clean), you will be penalised.

See post 182
The contract information was "outed" on this forum by me (see Post 182 on the 6th of August)....I got the information (that was free for the public to view) from the OFFICIAL V Australia website....
Sorry to rain on your tea party Chicken or Fish, but as your previous post states, you have presented "Flight Crew Candidate Information"... NOT the contract. The contract is only presented by VA, AFTER interview, IF you were successful. This has been the frustrating thing for most candidates I know, as many wouldn't have bothered with the interview, if they could have viewed the document first. Incidently, you have 7 days to sign, once you are presented with the contract.

C'mon......
C'mon Air Command.....you guys knew as early as April it was not going to be a fair deal but I agree that the details of the contract were not known in April.
The information I posted is exactly the same (ie word for word) as your "contract" so at least V Australia are letting Flight Crew know the conditions before they apply which is a good thing....
Are you signing Air Command or know someone who is?

I asked Sir Donald that same question on another thread chicken or fish 2. Seems that few are willing to answer.
Is it for fear of breaching a confidentiality agreement, or is it just embarassment for being sucked in to such a substandard set of working conditions?
Either way, there seems to be a shortage of takers!

What are they thinking, if you have that amount of money to start a airline, forget it, and put it in to mining shares. You might make something. I have more chance of winning lotto, than this mob doing any good.

Might have been mentioned...
Looks like "VAustralia" has already hit another snag...
Virgin sees red over watchdog's ban | The Australian

Nunc est bibendum
Apart from the industrial reasons, can someone explain to me the benefit of doing this under separate AOCs? Why not do it all under Virgin Blue's AOC and just amend the thing? Surely they already have crap in there about ETOPS, SOPS, etc so why go to the effort to do it all new with a different CP, etc?
Keg, from my understanding if the 777 was a new aircraft for "Virgin Blue" then you would be right, however as it is for a new company ''V Australia" it is actually easier to do a new AOC, this comes from Casa.
Nunc est bibendum
Ah. That makes sense. What was the reason they couldn't do it as Virgin Blue again? Wasn't that something to do with SQ having a competing interest in Virgin Airlines and not allowing the use of the name by other international carriers? Or something like that anyway?!?!
